How to Use Link Building Pro

If you’ve recently signed up for an Uprankly trial, this step-by-step guide will help you get started with the Link Building Pro product.

Uprankly Dashboard Overview

After successfully logging into your Uprankly account, you will be redirected to the Dashboard page.

The Dashboard is the central control panel for managing your SEO tools and subscriptions.

From this page, you can:

  • View active subscriptions
  • Access available tools
  • Navigate to Team management
  • Open Account Settings

Note: 

  1. The tool you purchase will appear as Active in the left-side menu.
  2. Any tools that you do not have a subscription for will remain Disabled and cannot be accessed until a subscription is activated.

Active Subscriptions Section

Here, you can:

  • View your current plan
  • Check billing cycle details
  • Monitor renewal information

Available Tools Section

Below Active Subscriptions, you’ll see the Available Tools section.

This section displays all SEO tools offered by Uprankly, including:

For example, 

If you subscribe for the Link Outreach Manager too, you will find it in this section with the details below,

  • Shows pricing (e.g., $57/month for Starter)
  • Displays included features for each pricing plan (prospect searches, emails sent, connected email accounts, etc.)

This is the starting point for using Uprankly’s Link Building Pro (Link Outreach Manager).

Managing Your Team in Uprankly

To manage a team inside your Uprankly account, navigate to the Team section from the left-side navigation panel.

Once you click Team, you will be redirected to your Workspace management page.

Workspace Overview

At the top of the page, you’ll see your workspace name (e.g., ABC@XYZ.com's Workspace).

This represents your main account environment where all tools, campaigns, and subscriptions are managed.

On the right-hand side, there is an “Add New Member” button, which allows you to invite additional users to your workspace.

Team Member Details

Below the workspace title, you will find a table with the following columns:

  • Name: Displays the full name of the team member.
  • Orders: Shows the number of orders or assigned items linked to that team member.
  • Email: Displays the registered email address of the team member.
  • Action: Contains management options for the team member.

If no team members have been added yet, the system will display the message:

No Team Member Found.

This means your workspace currently has no additional users, and only the account owner has access.

Account

The Account page is located in the left-side menu and top of the Settings section.

You can manage your basic account information on this page.

Settings

To manage your personal account details and subscription settings, navigate to the Settings section from the left-side navigation panel.

Once selected, you will be redirected to the Account & Settings page.

The page is divided into multiple sections to help you manage your account efficiently.

On the left-side sub-menu, you will find:

  • Account
  • Billing
  • Usages

By default, the Account tab is selected.

Account Information Tab

Inside the Account Information section, you can manage your basic profile details.

Editable Fields:

  • Full Name – You can update your display name here.
  • Email – This field is visible but cannot be changed.

After making any updates to your name, click the Save button to apply the changes.

If no changes are made, the system will indicate that there are no updates to save.

Password Tab

Next to the Account Information tab, you will see the Password tab.

This section allows you to:

  • Update your account password
  • Improve account security
  • Reset credentials if necessary

Billing Section

Under the left-side sub-menu, click Billing to:

  • View your active subscriptions
  • Manage payment methods
  • Monitor billing cycles
  • Check renewal dates

You can control your Link Building Pro subscription payments here.

Usages Section

The Usages tab allows you to track:

  • Monthly tool usage limits
  • Outreach credits
  • Prospect searches
  • Email sending limits

This is essential for monitoring whether you are close to your plan’s monthly limits.

Additional Option: Delete Account

At the bottom-right corner of the page, there is a Delete Account option.

This permanently removes your account and associated data, so it should be used with caution.

Usage & Plan Limits

To track how much of your subscription you have used, navigate to:

Settings → Usages

This will open the Plan Usage & Limits page, where you can monitor feature usage across your active subscription.

Plan Overview

At the top of the page, you will see:

  • The active product (e.g., Link Outreach Manager)
  • Your selected plan (e.g., Starter – Monthly)
  • Subscription status (e.g., Active)

This confirms which plan’s limits are currently being tracked.

Feature Usage Breakdown

Below the plan overview, you will find a detailed list of all available features along with their usage status.

Each feature displays:

  • A progress bar
  • Percentage used (e.g., 0% used)
  • Current usage vs. total limit (e.g., 0 of 500)

Key Usage Categories

1. Prospect Search: Tracks the number of link-building prospect searches used out of your monthly limit.

2. Outreach Campaigns: Displays how many outreach campaigns you have created compared to your plan’s maximum allowance.

3. Email Sending: Shows the number of outreach emails sent during the current billing cycle.

4. Email Accounts: Indicates how many email accounts are connected to your workspace.

5. Backlink Tracking: Tracks the number of backlinks being monitored inside the system.

6. Prospect Lists: Displays how many prospect lists you have created.

7. Link Building Projects: Shows the number of active projects under your account.

8. Monthly Email Quota: Tracks the total number of emails allowed per month.

If all metrics show 0% used, it means you have not yet started using the tool features.

Start Link Building

After setup is complete:

  1. Go to Link Building from the left menu.
  2. Create your first project.
  3. Begin prospecting and outreach.
