How to Purchase, Upgrade & Cancel Plan in Uprankly

By the end of this guide, you will understand how to purchase a new plan, upgrade your existing subscription, or cancel your plan in Uprankly to manage your account and billing easily.

Prerequisites

  • Active Uprankly account
  • Account login access
  • Billing section access

Purchase a Plan

  1. Navigate to Pricing: From the Uprankly homepage, click on the Pricing tab in the top navigation bar.
  2. Select Your Plan: Choose between Monthly or Yearly billing. Review the available tiers (Starter, Pro, or Agency) and click Get Started on the plan that fits your needs.
  3. Enter Email: On the checkout page, enter your email address and click Continue.
  4. Create Account: Enter your full name and create a secure password, then click Create Account & Continue.
  5. Payment Information: Select your preferred currency (e.g., USD) and enter your credit card details (Card Number, Expiry Date, CVC, and Cardholder Name).
  6. Complete Purchase: Select your country and click the Subscribe button. Once the payment is processed, you will see a "Payment Successful" confirmation.
  7. Access Dashboard: Click Sign in to Continue to log into your new account and access your dashboard.

Upgrade Your Plan

  1. Access Account Settings: Once logged in, click on your profile name in the top right corner and select Billing.
  2. Manage Subscription: In the "Active Subscriptions" section, locate the plan you wish to change and click the Manage button.
  3. Initiate Update: This will take you to the Stripe billing portal. Click the Update subscription button.
  4. Select New Plan: Choose your new plan tier or billing frequency (e.g., switching from Monthly to Yearly). Click Continue after making your selection.
  5. Confirm Update: Review the "Amount due today" and the details of your updated plan. Click Confirm to finalize the upgrade.
  6. Verification: You will be redirected back to your billing page, where the "Active Subscriptions" will now reflect your new plan.

Cancel a Plan

  1. Go to Billing: Click on your profile name in the top right corner of the dashboard and select Billing.
  2. Manage Plan: Click the Manage button next to the active subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Cancel Subscription: On the management page, click the Cancel subscription button.
  4. Confirm Cancellation: Review the cancellation details (which usually state your service will remain active until the end of the current billing period). Click Cancel subscription again to confirm.
  5. Provide Feedback (Optional): You may be asked to select a reason for canceling. Choose a reason and click Submit or select No thanks to skip.
  6. Status Check: Your billing page will now show a "Cancelled" status next to the plan, along with the date the service will officially end.

Note: You can always click Don't cancel subscription or Renew subscription if you change your mind before the end of the billing cycle.
